“The art collection for Shard Place was carefully curated early in the design process (2020-2024) to foster collaboration between Richeldis Fine Art and State of Craft, resulting in a thoughtful and original collection. Drawing inspiration from the Renzo Piano Workshop’s philosophy of "bringing the outside in," the collection focused on natural themes and handcrafted works, with an emphasis on abstraction and exploring diverse materials.”  -Richeldis

Jones created 186 ceramic sculptures for the Shard Place apartments, 47 pairs of dark hue and 46 pairs of light hue vessels. Each was hand built, burnished, pit fired and adorned with 24ct gold kintsugi
